Batman Layout

So I'm currently working on some sample pgs. n a good friend of mine Chris Sotomayer was kind enuff to send me some sample scripts. I chose to do batman first. I usually start of my samps with a cover jus to get a feel of the character. I start of with small thumbnails and blow them up on a copy and add detail later using a lightbox. Here are sum thumbnails i'll post the finals when they're done.

My Process is pretty simple, Thumbnail, Layout, Final :) Sumtimes i'll skip the thumbnail tho....

HULK

wanted to do something dynamic with him....hmmmmmm think i did pretty well.
I'm messing around more with shapes i'm finding it alot easier to come up
with more dynamic poses. I'm pretty pleased with this.

Always wanted to do a Blade book, i love this character i think they did a horrible television show with it. Movies 1&2 were pretty good 3 sucked :/

Peter vs. Parker!

Peter vs. Parker. First one was colored by a studiomate of mine (outbreakstudios.com [shameless plug!]) The second by Bakanekonei (I pronounce it bacon-ick-on-eee) LOL, J/K!, from deviantart.com. I really like them both alot, The first one is a more smooth crips style ready for print and publish, and thats what I like about it. The second is more of a painted style with the bright spidey colors and thats what I like about that one. What do you guys/gals think?

I'm sure you all remember this one! Colored by seed and penciled by me. Done for MIP Publishing1 Modeled the gangsta on the left after method man. Seed did an amazing job on the color scheme and the whole atmosphere of the bar!

GANGSTA GANGSTA!

I did this for MIP Publishing a while back. They wanted me to do something for their website on the menu screen so I made the guns floating around the character like an option menu thing, each gun representing something different like the art gallery, main menu, profile, etc....... In the end the wanted the guns on the ground. I modeled him after lil wayne. It was colored by the ever so talented seed. You know him from the image book, LULLABY!
